“Two weeks ago, the Work and Pensions Secretary’s Department not only admitted to falsifying testimonies in leaflets, but published data on the deaths of people on sickness benefit, which showed that they are four times more likely to die than the general population. That was after the Secretary of State told the House that these data did not exist. Given that, and his offensive remarks earlier this week—referring to people without disabilities as “normal”—when will the Prime Minister take control and respond to my call for the Work and Pensions Secretary to be investigated for breaching the ministerial code?”
David Cameron still ducking and diving without answering the question. The conservatives cannot get away from the facts. Campaigners and many respectable MPs will and should not let this go. I have repeatedly on this blog and on others suggested how the evil policies from this government caused harm or worse linked to death’s.
What is more, like the long awaited enquiry into the Iraq war. This government’s policies should be investigated. A full investigation should be taken by the parliamentary committee. Also by impartial independent charity’s or committees. This government denies or closes its eyes to reality. Hard evidence, facts and statistics are manipulated, twisted or just ignored. This has to change, if its not now, it should be in the very near future.
Again, “when will the Prime Minister take control and respond to my call for the Work and Pensions Secretary to be investigated for breaching the ministerial code?”
